1Day Ziwa Rhino Tracking Trip at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Uganda starts from Kampala or at Entebbe International Airport if not in Masindi near Murchison Falls National Park.
Located in Nakasongola District, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is 176Kms from Kampala City. The sanctuary was founded by the Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority in 1980s during Idi Amini’s era of war and unrest.
The Sanctuary re-introduced the displaced Black and white Rhinos from Kidepo Park and Murchison Falls National Parks

Ziwa Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary one Day Itinerary
This Ziwa Tour is suitable for business Travellers who have limited time to visit bigger National Parks in Uganda such as Murchison falls Park.
At 7:00am after morning break fast at your booked hotel or Lodge, our safari guide will meet you and brief you about the excursion then drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Uganda North of Kampala via Luweero to Nakasongola where this Sanctuary is found. The drive from Kampala to the Rhino Sanctuary is 2-3 hours drive.
On arrive at the sanctuary, you will be briefed about the Rhino tracking exercise which will 2-3 hours in the company of well trained and knowledgeable local guides. The Tracking is done on foot from the Sanctuary’s headquarters. After the tracking, you will go for lunch and soft drink then drive back to Kampala arriving in evening.
You can combine Ziwa Rhino tracking with Murchison falls National park for 3 days if you have enough time
