GORILLA TOUR 4 DAYS
Tour Lake Mburo and Bwindi gorilla forest for the amazing Uganda wild life, primates like white Columbus monkeys and endangered mountain gorillas
DAY one (transfer to Lake Mburo National Park)
Morning after breakfast, you {will|you'll|you may} be picked from your building by our tour guide who will transfer you to Lake Mburo national park, having a stopover at the Equator for pictures and snacks. Reach the Park for lunch and relaxation. Within the afternoon get pleasure from a ship ride in Lake Mburo amidst Hippos, Crocodiles herons, bird species like African King Fisher, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, and Crested Cranes. Long at Rwonyo camp/Mantana tented camp.
DAY two (Lake Mburo NP - Bwindi NP)
Early morning after breakfast, opt for a game drive with probabilities of seeing Warthogs, Elands, Uganda kob, Buffaloes and plenty of birds’ species. Drive to Lake view hotel Mbarara for Lunch and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable park through the terraced hills of Kabale. Overnight at Gorilla gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas.
DAY three (Gorilla trekking Bwindi Forest)
Take a cup of tea very early within the morning and report to the ranger station for registration and directions on how to trek the gorillas in the jungle. With walking sticks make your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas as guided by the game ranger. For about five hours, Sit within the forest among the gorillas listening to them grumble to every different and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. Plenty of energy is required for this activity.
Optional activity: in the evening take a guided walk on the Munyaga river path that results in 3 pleasant crystal clear waterfalls to ascertain butterflies, birds and primates from the forest edge. Overnight at gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas.
DAY four (Return to Kampala)
Morning at leisure after breakfast, breakfast drive to Kampala and lunch in Mbarara town arriving late evening for dinner and overnight at hotel Africana.
