Tips for a Successful and Ethical Gorilla Trekking Adventure of 3 Days Gorilla Tracking Bwindi
When embarking on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, it is important to prioritize the well-being of the gorillas and respect their natural habitat. Here are some tips to ensure a successful and ethical experience:
Respect the gorillas’ space: While it may be tempting to get up close to these majestic creatures for the perfect photo, it is crucial to maintain a safe distance and follow the guidelines set by the park rangers. Avoid making loud noises or sudden movements that may disturb the gorillas.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi for 3 Days Gorilla Tracking Bwindi
Pick up from either Entebbe or Kampala in Uganda and Transfer to Bwindi Forest, along the way make a stopover at the Equator for Photo taking and continue to Bwindi Forest. Lunch will be en rout
OR Pick up from Kigali Rwanda and cross into Uganda, then connect to Bwindi Gorilla Forest
Dinner and overnight at either Buhoma community rest camp/Bwindi view camp site/Trekker’s tervan/Gift of nature/Wagtail camp/ Kisoro Traveller’st rest / Gorilla valley.
Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest Uganda – Capturing Breathtaking Moments with the Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi
This activity is the highlight of Gorilla Trekking on Christmas Day. Briefing, registration is at 7:30 am. Trekkers need to come along with their passports for verification, packed lunch/ snacks , Drinking water, Hiking boots, a rain coat and a camera.
The trekking exercise is expected to take 1 – 7 hours of hiking and encountering with the Mountain Gorillas.
Dinner and overnight at either Buhoma community rest camp/Bwindi view camp site/Trekker’s tervan/Gift of nature/Wagtail camp/ Kisoro Traveler’s rest / Gorilla valley.
Day 3 – Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe Uganda OR Kigali Rwanda for your Departure Flight
