When are the best months to see Gorillas in Uganda?
December through February and June through August are dry months therefore finest times to travel to Uganda.

New Year Gorilla Tour and End of Year Gorilla Trekking 2 Days

Day 1 – Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial then Transfer to Uganda
This Tour begins from either your booked Hotel in Kigali city, or on arrival at Kigali International Airport.
Pick up from the Airport is with arrival of either a morning or an afternoon flight.
On arrival with any of the above scheduled flights, our safari driver will meet you at the Airport.
First, you will visit Kigali city and transfer to Bwindi forest or Mgahinga Park for End of Year Gorilla Tracking.
While in Kigali you will tour the genocide memorial and in afternoon or evening connect to Bwindi Forest Uganda.
Both overnight and dinner will be at either Gahinga lodge or Bwindi lodge for up market.
Otherwise Luxury lodges are either Gorilla Heights Lodge or Kiho Lodge and Buhoma lodge.
Mid range option is either Bakiga Lodge or Rushaga Gorilla camp. Both Buhoma community and Bwindi view (budget)
2nd Day – End Of Year Gorilla Treking and Transfer back to Kigali Rwanda
Have an early breakfast and get ready for Gorilla trekking which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff.
Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, a jacket and wear water proof trousers.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare primates, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
Exactly at 9 am, game rangers will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates and Gorilla Treking exercise will take between 2 to 6 hours but it is well worth the effort.
Keep a distance of 5 meters away from the gorillas there by spending 1 hours of viewing or observation.
Taking of photos of New year gorilla tour is by a flash free camera and avoid taking photos when the gorillas have charged.
After the End of year gorilla trekking, you will drive back to Kigali Rwanda and drop you off at your preferred venue.
The New Year Gorilla Tour includes the following
Transportation by a 4 wheel drive vehicle, Full board accommodation and One Gorilla permit per person to be secured immediately upon confirmation of the Tour.
Further more the package entails Kigali Genocide Memorial, Park entry fees, English speaking Driver or guide, Meals en route and Airport drop off.
However, the package excludes expenses of personal nature like: Visas, drinks, laundry, tips to local guides, telephone bills and porter fee while trekking.
