In Akagera National Park Rwanda, a long game drive of 4-6 hours is recommended since it is a huge park.

There is a variety of over 500 bird species of birds and Akagera is the only Park in Rwanda where you can do game safaris.

During the games drives, there chances of seeing elephant and buffalos, cats like lions, leopards and spotted hyenas.

Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Akagera National Park for evening Boat Trip on Lake Ihema

At 7:30 am, our Trained and knowledgeable Safari guide will either pick you from your booked hotel in Kigali or will meet you on arrival at Kigali Airport.

Then go for Kigali city Tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kigali Convention Center and Inema Art Gallery.

You will have Dinner and Overnight at Rwizi Tented Camp Lodge (Luxury), Akagera Game Lodge (Mid-range), Urugo Ego Lodge (Budget)

 

 

Day 2: A long games drive in Akagera National Park and drive back to Kigali where you will be dropped

Take a morning breakfast and go for a long games drive in the park. Expect to see elephant and buffalos, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras, Impalas and warthogs etc.

You will go with packed lunch lunch then after the games drive, you will transfer back to Kigali and drop you at your preferred Venue
