5 DAYS CHIMPANZEE AND GORILLA TRACKING- UGANDA
DAY 1- From Airport, Transfer to KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
On arrival with early morning flight at 6am or from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, after early morning breakfast, the safari guide will pick you and leave for Kibale forest Park. You will have lunch en route. Meals and overnight at Ndali lodge/ Primate lodge (luxury), Chimpanzee guest house/ Isunga Lodge 9mid-range), Kibale forest camp tent (budget)
DAY 2- Morning Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi nature walk
This day is for tracking chimpanzees, after breakfast, assemble at UWA offices for briefing then go to the jungle to track chimpanzees for 1-4 hours. You will return to the lodge for lunch, in evening go for 3 hour bigodi nature walk. Meals and overnight at Ndali lodge/ Primate lodge (luxury), Chimpanzee guest house/ Isunga Lodge 9mid-range), Kibale forest camp tent (budget)
DAY 3- Transfer to Bwindi forest National Park
Morning after breakfast, drive to Bwindi Forest National park pass through the rwenzoris and you will arrive in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge/ Bwindi lodge/ Gorilla safari lodge/ Gorilla height lodge (luxury), Bakiga lodge/ Rushaga camp/ Haven Buhoma lodge (mid-range), Gift of nature/Bwindi view/Buhoma Community Banda’s /Golden Monkey Hotel /Ruhija Back packers/ Rushaga gorilla cmap budget rooms (budget)
DAY 4- Gorilla trekking
With packed lunch after breakfast, assemble at UWA offices for briefing and registration. Gorilla trekking exercise may take 2-6 hours, spending 1 hour with the gorillas. You will return for Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge/ Bwindi lodge/ Gorilla safari lodge/ Gorilla height lodge (luxury), Bakiga lodge/ Rushaga camp/ Haven Buhoma lodge (mid-range), Gift of nature/Bwindi view/Buhoma Community Banda’s /Golden Monkey Hotel /Ruhija Back packers/ Rushaga gorilla cmap budget rooms (budget)
DAY 5- Transfer to Entebbe Airport with a stopover at the Equator
Morning after breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight arriving in the evening. Having lunch en route and a stopover at the equator for photo taking
The safari package includes:
